Tamar Braxton was ready to gossip Friday morning on "The View," where the reality TV star opened up about what really led to her divorce from Vince Herbert and why her unplanned exit from "The Real" was "hurtful."

Appearing as a guest co-host for the day, Braxton kicked off the show by answering all of Sunny Hostin and Joy Behar's questions about her relationship with Vince, who also joined them all on the table.

"In this situation, I absolutely have no reason to lie about my marriage for ratings. I think that's disgusting and I would never sell my soul to the devil like that," she began, addressing rumors the relationship drama is all for TV.

"It was just to a point where I felt divorce was the only action I had left," she said, adding that the two do not live together and she "definitely filed for divorce."

Behar brought up the "metldown" Braxton had on Instagram back in December, when she claimed Herbert had gotten another woman pregnant. Joy directed the question first to Vince, asking if there's "a bun in the oven of some other woman?"

"Absolutely not. And all the other allegations are not true, I'm just not that kind of person," he said. "I love this lady with all my heart. I will never stop fighting with my family and make it great."

"Let me just address the meltdown," responded Tamar. "That was my fault that I put myself in a position where I opened up the floor for people to give their opinions on my marriage and I have to take responsibility for that. I do air my dirty laundry, however I've never been that specific. I should have been specific enough to say this is what my so-called friends were saying."

"I believe him because I don't believe he has anything to lie about," she added. "I'm already gone, I already filed for divorce. The pregnancy rumor came from my friends."

When asked why a "friend" would say something like that, Vince added, "Because people are miserable and if they see you happy, they don't want that."

Braxton then made it clear she didn't file for divorce because of the baby drama. "I filed for divorce because we work together, he's my baby father, we're together each and every day and it just got to be too much and we couldn't figure out how to figure it out."

Vince added that he's open for reconciliation, while Tamar said "it's OK not to know." Their work relationship remains for now and they're both focusing on their son.

The panel also asked Braxton about her sudden and shocking departure from "The Real" back in 2016, after her contract wasn't renewed.

"I can't even give you an explanation because I was never given an explanation. They said, 'Bye!'" Braxton revealed. "I've never gotten a reason why and that's on God. Here's the thing about god, he puts you in positions where you are supposed to be in. I have to take this lesson as a lesson and move upward and forward."

When asked about her former cohosts, Braxton said, "For me, it seemed like we got along."

"When we all automatically didn't get along, that was very hurtful to me," she said. "I haven't seen them since Logan's birthday party." She added that none of them have contacted her.
