Taylor Swift and Blake Lively stepped out for another fashionable girls’ night Wednesday evening—and soon after, the singer’s outfit launched a conversation on social media. Fans theorized that the ensemble contained several Easter eggs suggesting she’ll soon be releasing her next rerecorded album: Reputation (Taylor’s Version).

The look in question was a scrunchy green velvet minidress with long sleeves, a scooped neckline, and a flirty skirt. The singer wore it over sheer black tights and paired it with pointy thigh-high calf leather boots from Jimmy Choo’s latest collaboration with Jean Paul Gaultier. Decorating the boots was hand-drawn tattoo-style art that included—wait for it—snakes.

Swifties are well aware the snake was the face of the pop superstar’s revenge-centric sixth studio album, and, well, snakes are also often green.

Swift finished her look with a little black handbag by Vivienne Westwood and gold jewelry, including dangly earrings, layered necklaces, and some wraparound (like snakes!) rings. She wore her hair straight down and opted for her signature black cat eye and red lip.

Next to the singer, Lively looked lovely in a slouchy red, black, and yellow striped sweater, which she tucked into a tan miniskirt embellished with a large silver buckle. She completed the outfit with red suede platform heels with a golden block heel, a white and yellow Louis Vuitton monogram handbag, a chunky gold chain necklace, and some rings. The actor’s hair was styled in silky waves, and she wore natural, glowy makeup and a rosy pink lip.

Swift’s Reputation-coded outing with Lively comes days after she attended the 2024 Golden Globes in a fit that also dropped Easter eggs connected to the 2017 album. The red-carpet look was a long green sequin gown custom-made by Gucci, which she styled with metallic green Christian Louboutin heels. The singer added some shimmer with De Beers jewelry, including cascading diamond earrings and a ring that coiled around her finger (like a snake).
